Common faults and solutions of gear reducers!
- 2025-03-03
Gear reducer is widely used in transmission devices, and its presence can be seen in many common motor equipment. For a device with such a high usage rate, it is inevitable to encounter various problems, such as excessive noise, damaged parts, etc. So, how should we solve common faults like this?
1、 Tooth breakage
If the teeth of the gear reducer break, then only new parts of the same model can be replaced.
2、 Bending of the shaft
After running for a period of time, if the shaft of the gear reducer bends, it can be straightened using a press.
3、 The joint surface of the reducer is leaking.
After disassembling and opening the gearbox, replace the sealing gasket or apply sealant
4、 Wear and tear issues
1. The wear of the gearbox bearing chamber includes the wear of the housing bearing box, the inner hole bearing chamber of the housing, and the gearbox bearing chamber.
2. The gear shaft diameter of the reducer is worn, mainly on the shaft head, keyway, etc.
3. The bearing position of the gearbox transmission shaft is worn.
Generally, for situations where wear is not severe, electroplating can be used to restore the accuracy of the parts.
